The Manamana team, composed of fourth-year students Jegal Heon-yeol, Lee Seong-joo, Jeong Bo-seong, and Kim Hyeon-joo, won the grand prize at the 2011 KOBACO Young Lions Challenge hosted by KOBACO (Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation). On October 28, KMU hosted the “Elevator Pitch Contest,” which is a new kind of idea contest. The purpose of the contest is to collect creative ideas from students and to develop the presentation skills of participating students. Keimyung University created a new style of festival. Most university festivals are about inviting popular singers and opening a tavern for drinking. However, on September 21 and 22, KMU held a festival with sound and fresh items.The theme of the festival was “Festival going wild, Catharsis.” There were programs like a campaign for non-smoking and non-drinking, and a special lecture about getting a job.
