The Sixth Sense team, which consisted of 6 members, got first prize in the first Creative Innovation Sports Project (CISP) sports idea contest.
This contest was held to overcome a crisis of youth unemployment and shortage of sports experts and was aimed at university students. Its theme was finding ideas for a sports job fair.
Sixth Sense’s idea is to help athletes show their ability by gathering people related to sports like athletes and agents in a job fair. It will help to scout and employ athletes. They were judged on making a creative idea, which brought them a first prize of three million won.
Song Jeong-jun from the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, who was the team’s leader, said, “When I searched about getting a job in sports to prepare for this contest, I realized that most of the positions were filled by people having good specs like fluent English, so I designed this project to help people who are talented in sports but not English to become sport experts.”
