World Food Day to Celebrate KMU’s 125th Anniversary

To celebrate the 125th anniversary of KMU, “World Food Day” was held on Wednesday, October 30th. This event provided a valuable opportunity for international students to introduce cuisine from their country, with a total of 17 countries participating and 17 food booths representing the various nations. The event took place at the basketball court area, and the boothswere run by internationalstudentsfromthe language institute. All KMU students were welcome to participate. sumin8101g@hanmail.net

The festival featured food and activity boothsrun by internationalstudents, as well as a color zone where participants enjoyed music and threw color powder. Many Gen-Zs would respond with Korean Idol groups or celebrities due to their connection with K-music, K-dramas, and K-movies. Alongside the rise in popularity of K-pop and K-dramas, many individuals have become extremely interested in Korean food recently. Kimchi, for example, has been a trending food in media across nations.  Have you ever tried a delicious side dish called kimchi? Kimchi can be a main dish or a side dish. or even a condiment in Korean cuisine. Kimchi is a traditional ‘banchan,’ meaning side dish in Korean, which i
