KMU students from Myanmar are currently having a hard time continuing their studies at Keimyung University due to the military coup in their country. President Synn Il-hi decided to pay 11 of Myanmar's students 300,000 won per month for six months. The living support fund for Myanmar's students was provided by the 1% Love Sharing Program. Due to the spread of Covid-19, society is undergoing huge changes. On July 7, Dr. Synn Il-hi took office as the 12th president of Keimyung University. His term of office is four years until July 2024. The inauguration ceremony was held at Keimyung University, Adams Chapel and was attended by executives and professors from associated departments and organizations.
