Manamana Wins Grand Prize

The Manamana team, composed of fourth-year students Jegal Heon-yeol, Lee Seong-joo, Jeong Bo-seong, and Kim Hyeon-joo, won the grand prize at the 2011 KOBACO Young Lions Challenge hosted by KOBACO (Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation). At the contest, there were two different themes for two rounds.

In the preliminary round, the theme was “global warming.” Manamana submitted a plan “What goes around, comes around.” In the final round, they were given the theme ‘Loving your family’, and competed with other teams for 2 days. Manamana won the grand prize of 5,000,000 won, and an opportunity to participate in courses in KOBACO.

Jegal Heon-yeol said, “The solutions to global warming are not difficult. Our plan was about what normal people can do.” He added, “In the final round, I emphasized that loving your family is not something special or difficult. It's just about caring for your family more often and being with them when they need you.”
