Kim Dong-hwi (Department of Education) was selected for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) by the U.S. State Department. This program provides part of the expenses such as tuition, airfare, living expenses, and medical insurance to selected students from around the world with ECA (Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs) support. Selected students spend one semester or one year as an exchange student in an American university. This time, they selected four students from 500 applicants across Korea. On May 20 at Adams Chapel, there was a ceremony for the 116th anniversary of Keimyung University. At the beginning, classical music welcomed the visitors. Keimyung University graduates who worked as overseas volunteers visited Keimyung on April 25.About 500 students who have participated in overseas volunteers since 2011 organized the Keimyung Dream Team. Park Ye-ji from KAC (Keimyung Adams College) has been accepted as an intern by the UN. She joined the 69th session of the Third Committee last October. The 3rd Committee deals with environmental, human rights, and economic justice issues.To join the UN, she did tests. She passed the application phase and essay test. KMU president Synn Ilhi visited Sri Lanka March 23 to 27. He had a meeting with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and signed an academic exchange agreement.
