KMU-Sri Lanka Exchange

KMU president Synn Ilhi visited Sri Lanka March 23 to 27. He had a meeting with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and signed an academic exchange agreement. They discussed scholarship and cultural exchange in this meeting. Through the agreement, KMU plans to have student and faculty exchanges, research cooperation, academic conferences and seminars, and education programs with Moratuwa University and Peradeniva University.

Last winter, KMU’s volunteer corps volunteered at Anuleujeu Balika Elementary School in Colombo. At that time, Thilanga Sumathipala (a member of parliament) saw the volunteers, and he wanted an ongoing exchange with KMU. KMU has plans to increase exchanges with Southeast Asian countries.
