Sarangbi, directed by Yoon Suk-ho, who is famous for Gaeul Donghwa and Winter Sonata, has been filmed on KMU campus since September 2011. The drama has attracted nationwide attention because Yun-a and Jang Geun-suk star in this drama. The Manamana team, composed of fourth-year students Jegal Heon-yeol, Lee Seong-joo, Jeong Bo-seong, and Kim Hyeon-joo, won the grand prize at the 2011 KOBACO Young Lions Challenge hosted by KOBACO (Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation). On October 28, KMU hosted the “Elevator Pitch Contest,” which is a new kind of idea contest. The purpose of the contest is to collect creative ideas from students and to develop the presentation skills of participating students.
