KMU Attracts Drama and Film Shoots


KMU campus is increasingly becoming a popular spot for dramas and movies. Sarangbi, directed by Yoon Suk-ho, who is famous for Gaeul Donghwa and Winter Sonata, has been filmed on KMU campus since September 2011.

The drama has attracted nationwide attention because Yun-a and Jang Geun-suk star in this drama. Since KMU campus became known as the filming location of Sarangbi, many Japanese fans have visited KMU campus. In February this year, various dramas of KBS, MBC, and SBS are scheduled to be filmed on KMU campus.

Han Yeo-dong, KMU promotional team leader, said, “When a drama is over, a caption shows the viewers the locations. It maximizes the promotional effect for KMU.”

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
