Keimyung Dongsan Medical Center has completed the construction of the School of Medicine and the College of Nursing. On February 5, a building dedication ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of construction 500 guests attended including Cha Soon-do, the director of Dongsan Medical Center, Jeong Soon-mo, the Chief of the Board of Directors, and President Synn Il-hi. The School of Medicine and College of Nursing start their new semester in the new building on Sung seo campus. Shinhanchop is a book of letters in Korea written by Joseon Dynasty Kings: Hyojong, Hyeonjong, Sukjong, and queens Inseon, Myeongseong, Inhyeon wrote the letters to Hyojong’s Princess Sukhwi.The staff in the Korean Classics Room said, "This book of letters includes many of the kings’ messages inquiring after their family’s health. On July 31th, the first half year of the 2009 Korean language course ceremony was held in the multimedia room on the 3rd floor of the new Bauer Hall, sponsored by Dong Yeong Hall (the Center for International Education). During the opening comments, Eom Woo-youg, a Professor from the Department of Education and the head of the School of Korean Language, said, "We wish students awarded with the Certificate of Korean Language study Korean hard, so they can make good use of their Korean language ability."
