Special Lecture by the Polish Ambassador to Korea, H.E Marek Całka


On November 4th, a special lecture, given by H.E Marek Całka, the Polish ambassador to Korea special lecture in audio-visual room of Hengso Museum was held in audio-visual room of Hengso Museum .

The lecture progressed with five parts of Polish history from 1939 to 1989 under the theme of five critical decades. He explained each part: the flourish and downfall, the panic and survival, hope and stagnation, wrong modernization, and the restoration and liberation of the Polish people.

Starting with President Synn's welcoming greeting, H.E Marek Całka conducted the lecture for one hour and commented Korea also had such a similar historical period like Poland in the 1950s. Ambassador Całka is to be appointed as a professor in Department of European Studies, in college of International Studies. He is to give not only special lectures, but also perform information exchange affairs regarding Europe too.
