On August 29, the orientation for foreign scholarship graduate students and the Buddy program was held at Keimyung University. On August 12, KMU was chosen to house The Addiction to Gambling Clinic organized by the Korea Center on Gambling Problems. This service provides methodical prevention, cure and rehabilitation services for gambling addicts. It also informs people through education about the seriousness of the negative and harmful effects of gambling. KMU was selected as the Daegu-Kyungbook Region licensee through last a contest managed by the Korea Center on Gambling Problems in June.
