KMU Helps Entrepreneurs Get into Sports Industry Business



There was an opening ceremony for the Foundation Support Center in the Wellness Gym on September 2. The services available at the Foundation Support Center are provided by KMU and supported by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. The Foundation Support Center is designed to contribute to help create jobs and improve the local economy. There are various programs to help someone start a sports company. The center provides 40 people with personalized entrepreneurship education. Local residents will learn about company management and the sports industry from September to October. From November to December they will learn market analysis, and business strategy. The center assigns mentors who have at least two years experience in the sports field to each of the 40 prospects who are preparing a business.

Kim Ki-jin, Dean of the College of Physical Education at KMU and Manager of the Foundation Support Center said, “KMU has been trying to be a key player in the sports industry. We will help local residents to achieve their dreams.”
