Park Nam Hwan, a professor of Social Physical Education at Keimyung University (KMU), is the general manager of the short track team at The 27th Winter Universiade. On January 30th, he went to Spain for manage the competition that opens on February 4th.
This is not Professor Park’s first international event. He first served as a member of the Winter Universiade International Technical Committee chairing the Short Track Speed Skating Subcommittee of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) that was held in November 2011 in Brussels. He was the first Korean on the committee, so he got a lot of attention from domestic and international sports circles. Also in 2013, he was the general manager of short track team at the 26th Winter Universiade that was held in Trentino, Italy.
