KMU held a Korean language and culture camp on Seongseo Campus on August 4. The students came from Switzerland, Japan, and all around Europe.This camp held various programs for three weeks. There were Korean language classes in the morning and various Korean culture classes in the afternoon. Students put on hanbok, did taekwondo, took samulnori lessons, had lessons in K-pop dancing, and went to a jjimjilbang. The Green Light Team, make up of three KMU students majoring in the Department of Business Administration, won the 4th University Student Advertising Competition grand prize on December 29. The competition was held by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC). The awards were divided into printed advertisements and marketing planning.The Green Light Team suggested a campaign concept that fitted well with the brand identity of KDIC. The opera Nabucco was performed at Keimyung Art Center to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the establishment of Keimyung University. The opera was performed for 3 days from September 1 to September 3. Tickets were free for anyone who reserved them by telephone booking. Giuseppe Verdi, who was an Italian opera composer, wrote Nabucco based on a Bible story and the play Nabuccodonosor.
