The Green Light Team, make up of three KMU students majoring in the Department of Business Administration, won the 4th University Student Advertising Competition grand prize on December 29. The competition was held by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC). The awards were divided into printed advertisements and marketing planning.
The Green Light Team suggested a campaign concept that fitted well with the brand identity of KDIC. They proposed some strategic planning steps for a new concept that promotes a system for protecting depositors. They recommended using the Internet and social network services such as Webtoons and Facebook to advertise the system. They proposed bus advertising, too. Team leader Lee Sin-eop said, “Because all the group members did their work responsibly, we had a positive result.”
