On March 18, Keimyung University was selected for the Project to Strengthen University Education by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (MEST). Keimyung University and Kyungpook National University have been awarded colleges of pharmacy. Both universities were assigned twenty five personnel. According to MEST (Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology), the personnel will increase to least thirty in 2012. President Synn said, “I am sorry to be assigned few personnel but glad to attract a college of pharmacy that Keimyung has hoped for.”The construction of the College of Pharmacy is expected to start in April this year.
