On Wednesday, May 4th the KMU International Lounge held the first Movie Day in years. A Movie Day is an event held by the KMU International Lounge where the students can watch movies from different countries and learn about that country’s culture. A few days before the event, the International Lounge asked visitors to write down the movies that they want to watch on a whiteboard, and the chosen movie was Deadpool. The opening ceremony for Keimyung University's general organization and the welcoming concert for freshmen were held on April 28, 2022 at the Seong-seo Campus. The welcome concert for freshmen was organized by CALLA the KMU student council. Although many aspects were restricted due to COVID-19, it was the first event held at the schools as national distancing rules eased. The Keimyung University Cross-Cultural Awareness Programme (KMU-CCAP) is a programmes held by the Center for International Affairs. The Center for International Affairs set up several groups consisting of a Cultural Exchange Volunteer (CEV) and a Korean Interpretation Volunteer (KIV) to send to schools throughout Daegu. The CEV groups consist of foreign students, Mostly Exchange Students.
