Exchange Student from Finland I had been studying for over two months in Keimyung University before I heard about the Keimyung Gazette. For me it was a surprise that the university publishes a newspaper in English. When I first glanced at the newspaper, I found it interesting. I have read only one issue of the Gazette but I should definitely read more issues to familiarize myself better with the newspaper. However, my first impression about the Gazette was good. It contains various articles and I think that there is something for everyone. From my point of view, the article about unemployment

Hello, the GazetteFirst of all, I want to say thanks to the Gazette because the Gazette always provides new information and various news to me. When I first read the Gazette, I felt the English in the Gazette was easier than other English newspapers. In addition, the Gazette has various pictures and diversified sections. I decided to write this letter as a reader to introduce the Gazette to other Keimyung students. First, as I have said above, the Gazette has various corners. Personally, I think the best sections are the Movie Review and Art & Culture. I always look forward to the next issue t

After reading the GazetteI think it was a very good chance to get to know the Gazette newspaper, because it contains various new information relating to campus life and the contents are very interesting. However, as a reader I want to make some comments regarding the Gazette, hoping the Gazette can improve its quality more and attract more readers.Foremost, the Gazette has various corners. For example, the Opinion corner handles current issues which are controversial, such as the matter of publicizing criminals’ faces, and explaining the pros and cons of it. I like that corner very much. Next,

Benefits of the Gazette When I first found out about the newspaper 3 years ago, I thought that Keimyung Universitiy was doing a fine job ensuring students are well exposed to English. Also, it gave me lots of opportunities to find out about university events and other good information for students. Nowadays, English is one of the most important things for students to learn and, through this newspaper, we can both learn English and find out useful information. In addition, the Keimyung Gazette gives good opportunities for international students who are not fully informed about school events bec

Advice for the GazetteWhen I studied at Daemyeong Campus, I contacted the Gazette for the first time. I used to read the Gazette as I am always wondering what is happening on Seongseo Campus, and I got really excited about it. Since the Gazette became a magazine, I started to read it regularly. As a reader of the Gazette, I think the Gazette is a very useful English newspaper because it has various information and many exciting corners. However, there are two things I want to advise to the Gazette. Every page of the Gazette has so many letters and it sometimes makes me lose my interest. I wish

My First Time Reading the GazetteHello to the readers of the Keimyung Gazette! Actually, this is the first time I've read the Gazette. However, I was so fascinated with the Gazette, and so I decided to write this letter. The Gazette has two fascinating points which attract readers.First of all, the Gazette is well and easily written enough for the readers to understand the contents fully. Many existing English newspapers are written using difficult grammar or with difficult expressions which make readers frustrated while reading them. However, the Gazette is very clearly written, so its reader

My Personal View of the GazetteHello, my name is Lee Sang-wook. I'm a junior student in the Department of American Studies. I'm really happy that my article can be included in the Gazette. I sometimes read the Gazette, and I would like to express my personal view of the Gazette.First, the Gazette needs to try to give useful information to international students. Most foreign students don't know much about Keimyung University and Korea. Hence, the Gazette needs to include many articles about Korean culture and society to say nothing of Keimyung University news. If the Gazette can play such role

Advice for the GazetteHello. I have been interested in the Gazette for several years. Actually, I can get a lot of information from the Gazette. The Gazette is a vital element of a top international university like Keimyung University.I have to give some advice instead of common thanks in order to make a better Gazette. Firstly, in my opinion the Gazette needs more competition from another newspaper in order to catch interesting new stories. This year especially, many foreigners are visiting our university. Their countries are all different, such as China, Russia, the USA, Turkey, France, Indi
