The ‘2019 University Recruiting Tour’ was held in Uiyang Hall on Seung-seo campus on the 19th of October. Keimyung University is offering a free concert hall inside the main building on Daemyung campus from the end of August until the end of December this year for the development of local culture and arts and the expansion of local residents' living culture. The hall was prepared by Keimyung University's Industrial-Academic Human Resources and Daegu Foundation and it is expected help expand opportunities for entertainment of performance culture for local residents, as well as promote the Daemyung Performing Arts Street. Many university students are interested in finding a job. The KMU Job Center arranged a festival to try to encourage student that are applying for jobs. The festival title was the ‘2019 Youth Employment Policy Chicken and Beer Festival, and it was held in Daegu at the 2.28 Anniversary Central Park on June 28. About 1200 students participated, and there were 15 booths such as a policy booth, experience booths, and counselling booth. The 2019 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) for ASEAN countries invited science and engineering students July 11 to August 14. The purpose of this program is to provide ASEAN students with in-depth academic training in science and engineering fields and valuable experiences in Korea. Keimyung University revealed that the Korean poem 'Sinpyeon Yuchwi Daedong Sirim' will be designated as a National Cultural Property the Cultural Heritage Administration on April 29, 2019. It was written by 'Ryu Huiryeong' during the mid-Joseon period and consisted of seventy Korean poems. He wrote it for the purpose of collecting the entire Korean poems of that time. The scope of the poems was expanded from the Three Kingdoms period to the Joseon Dynasty, and the recognized authors were diversified, including even the monks of that time.
