On September 19, the Songguk-ri Cultural Assets Exhibition from the Bronze Age has opened. This exhibition will be on display until December 8, 2018 on the first floor of the Hengso Museum. The subtitle of this event is ‘Settled Agrarian Society and the Establishment of Ancestor Worship Culture’, so there are earthenware, stone blades and arrowheads used for farming and hunting in the Bronze Age in Korea. Photographer Changmo Park who actively performs as a member of the Society of Modern Photographic Images and works for the PR Team of Keimyung University held his third solo exhibition titled ‘Dalsung Park’ at Daegu Arts Power Plant in September. Keimyung University’s Center for Continuing Education has opened ‘The 1st Global Women’s Leadership Academy: Finding a Point of View as a Cultural and Art City’ for Daegu citizens in 2018. The Confucius Institute at Keimyung University has produced a number of Chinese government scholarship students reconfirming its status as a leading institution in Chinese language education in Korea. On July 24, representatives from Shinmyung High School and Ci Hu High School in China visited KMU. Shinmyung High School, which has a sisterhood relationship with KMU, travelled with teachers and the principal, while Ci Hu High School brought nearly 30 students and faculty.
