From April 1 to 13, the 46th "Jinhae Gunhang Festival," was held in Jinhae City, which is also famous for its cherry blossoms. The origin of the festival goes back to April 13, 1952, when a statue of Admiral Lee Sun-shin was erected in his memory at Bukwon Rotary.Since 1963, annual memorial ceremonies have been held to commemorate his patriotic spirit, and it has become one of the typical spring events in the Jinhae festival.
