Keimyung University successfully finished its second recruitment of freshmen with 5500 students accepting offers, registering an overall competition rate of 4.61:1. The School of Medicine had the highest competition rate of 23.62:1 with 614 students applying for 26 places. The pianist Lim Dong-min was appointed an assistant professor in the Department of Piano in Keimyung University on August 26. Recognizing his accomplishments and fame, Keimyung University decided to appoint him.Lim Dong-min was born in Seoul in 1980 and started to play the piano when he was 9. He attended Sunhwa Arts School as a full scholarship student. He also graduated from Moscow Conservatory, which is the top music conservatory in Russia.
