The Seoul Lantern Festival will be held at Cheonggyecheon in Seoul from November 4 to 20. This annual festival, one of the representative festivals in Seoul, will be the eighth since it was first held in 2009. The festival’s theme is the Hangang. The main lantern display event is from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and expresses Hangang’s history, culture, life and progress. The display will stretch from Cheonggyecheon Plaza to Supyogyo Bridge, a distance of almost 1.2 km. This talk was held by the KMU Center for Teaching & Learning with the topic: ‘Challenge! Overcoming hardship to achieve our dreams.’ The talk format was like TV talk shows where the audience asks questions. Four of Keimyung University’s enterprise organizations were selected for Creative Korea (CK project) by the Ministry of Education and National Research Foundation of Korea. Keimyung University now has seven enterprise organizations after the addition of the four new ones. KMU receives 15 billion won for this project until 2018. The CK project is the representative project for inducing radical reform in universities and showcasing the strong points of universities to remain competitive.
