Yeonggwang to Host Sea Salt and Mud Flat Festival



Are you looking for a unique experience? Go for a summer festival experience! I’ve picked a hot place for you to go: Yeonggwang Sea Salt and Mud Flat Festival. Every summer there is an event held to promote the excellence of the mud flats distributed around the Chilsan coastal waters on Korea’s west coast, one of the world’s top-5 mud flats. Yeonggwang’s sea salt is also famous for rich minerals and germaniums. In order to promote the world-class mudflats and sea salt together, the Yeonggwang Mudflat Festival has changed its name to Yeonggwang Mudflat and Sea Salt Festival. This festival offers a variety of programs, games, food and drink. You can dig for clams, play mudflat tug-of-war and try barley makgeolli or barley bibimbap. Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
