Kim Eun-jin (23, freshman, Dept. of Nursing), a volunteer interpreter at the International Clinic in Dongsan Hospital, has helped foreigners who visit Dongsan Hospital since 2009. She helps foreign patients to make a reservation for hospitalization and to find proper medical treatment. The number of foreigners who visit the hospital are about 20 to 30 a day. On January 6, the Dendenmusi (“snail” in Japanese) team, from the Department of Japanese Language and Literature, was chosen as the best club in the JPT (Japanese Proficiency Test) competition held by YBM Si-Sa.
