Photographer Changmo Park who actively performs as a member of the Society of Modern Photographic Images and works for the PR Team of Keimyung University held his third solo exhibition titled ‘Dalsung Park’ at Daegu Arts Power Plant in September. Keimyung University’s Center for Continuing Education has opened ‘The 1st Global Women’s Leadership Academy: Finding a Point of View as a Cultural and Art City’ for Daegu citizens in 2018. The Confucius Institute at Keimyung University has produced a number of Chinese government scholarship students reconfirming its status as a leading institution in Chinese language education in Korea. The institute held a departure orientation for 28 Chinese government trained students at Uiyanggwan on August 27. On July 24, representatives from Shinmyung High School and Ci Hu High School in China visited KMU. Shinmyung High School, which has a sisterhood relationship with KMU, travelled with teachers and the principal, while Ci Hu High School brought nearly 30 students and faculty. In Starcro Daegu Square, KBIDC (Korea Blockchain Internet Data Center) reached an agreement with KMU for the ‘Starcro’ Project, a national block-chain technology project.
