Oh Hee-jin, who graduated from the Music Art Studies Graduate School in 2000, sang the song "Pleures, mes yeux" from the opera Le Cid by J. Massenetwon. She won first prize at the "5th Concorso Internazionale Pietro Mongini, Una Voce Verdiana a Ispra" in Ispra, Italy. The musical Blind Love, performed by the Department of Theatre Arts, won third prize at the 2nd GM Daewoo University Musical Festival on October 29th. Twenty university teams participated in the festival with 6 teams making the final round. Blind Love is about the love between a mother and daughter, the love between men and women, and the love between friends. The Department of Japanese Language and Literature won first prize at the Sixth Japanese Drama Festival on October 21. Students performed selected scenes from the Korean play, Onggojibjeon in Japanese. The students' high level of Japanese and good acting ability contributed to them winning first prize. Recently, people have become more interested in health. Accordingly, more people are using Keimyung's athletic facilities. Keimyung University students and local residents often exercise on the large field, small field, and tennis courts.
