The Silver Expedition to Mt. Everest in May celebrates the 30th anniversary of the first Korean expedition to reach the top of Mt. Everest. On March 15, the Russian ambassador to Korea, Ambassador Gleb A. Ivashentsov, gave a special lecture in Haengso Museum. The lecture's subject was "Russia's Asian policy and relations between Korea and Russia." Ambassador Ivashentsov explained Russia's relations with Korea and the nuclear problem of North Korea, and he helped students understand the lecture through a question and answer session following the lecture. On March 20, the Spanish ambassador to Korea, Ambassador Delfin Colome, visited Keimyung University to sign an educational cooperation agreement between Keimyung University and major universities in Spain.
