On November 5, Kim Jin-myung, a senior in the Department of English Language and Literature, was selected to join the 2009 Study of the U.S. Institute for Korean Undergraduate Student Leaders. Construction of the new School of Medicine and College of Nursing is to restart following the completion of the outer structure in 2003. On August 1, Dongsan Medical Center set up a center of operations to facilitate construction with Professor Kwon Tae-chan of the School of Medicine as head. According to the center, new plans will be drawn up by the end of November, and actual construction will start from January 2009.
