2010 Korea Entrepreneur Festival


On June 26, Park Byeong-gyu and Jin Jun-ho from the Department of Industrial Design were awarded the grand prize in product design in the 2010 Korea Entrepreneur Festival sponsored by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA).

At the festival, in which more than 500 participants participated, Park and Jin presented thermotherapy device that uses paraffin. It is especially effective in relieving finger pain caused by using a computer keyboard.

Park Byeong-gyu said, “I think Medical Device Design class helped me to win the prize. I want to be an automobile designer after graduation, and my final goal is founding my own design company.”

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
