It was held at the ‘2017 Fashion Collection’ on May 12 for an hour in Dongsung-ro Square in front of the main Daegu Department Store. This event was hosted by Dalsung Culture Enhancement and was sponsored by the Dongsung-ro merchants and TCN Production. On May 18, Arts & Humanities conference of the silk road was held at Dongcheon Hall. It was sponsored by university of Isfahan, Keimyung university, and initiative for college of humanities’ research and education. It went on for about 7 hours with 2 sessions. University students account for a high rate of part-timers, so a new survey asked university students about their part-time job preferences using a google survey. During May 5-9, 100 university students responded to the survey. The survey included questions regarding type of part-time job, what is considered when looking for a job, preferred work pattern, and preferred work period.1. On May 10, 2017, Students in the Department of Music Production at Keimyung Artech College performed “The First Wave” concert at Buer Hall. This concert is welcoming presentation for freshman.The ensemble of vocals and several instruments including electric guitars, keyboards, and drum performed music arranged by students. To close the concert, students sang "Our Dream" the theme song of the Japanese animation "One Piece".The concert ended successfully with applause by the audience. Future performances by the Department of Music Production are expected after the success of this concert.
On May 2, 2017, a special lecture by a domestic businessman who had experience working in India was held at the College of Business Administration in KMU. The businessman was Park Sang-gil, a representative of SG Autotech Solutions PVT. LTD. The contents of the lecture were regarding India’s recent industrial, entrepreneurial, and employment trends.
