    From 2020 to 2022, when COVID-19 was in full swing, the average number of disaster text messages sent per year reached 54,402 over a total of three years. The Ministry of Public Administration and Security of the Republic of Korea said it will push to exclude text messages recommended for safe driving or missing warnings related to heavy snow warnings from the disaster text list.   • Former Secretary-General of UN Ban Ki-moon gives a special lecture at KMU

    On May 10th, 2023, Ban Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations, was invited to give a special lecture on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management at Keimyung University's Ui-yang Hall Un-je room. This special lecture was held under the theme of ESG management and college life during the global climate crisis.   • An Academic Exchange Agreement of KMU-SNU

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride.
