'2008 Experiencing Open Campus Life' was held on Seongseo Campus, Keimyung University from July 22 to 24. This event was held for sophomore year high school students to experience campus life indirectly before their entrance. 2000 students and their leading teachers from 60 schools in Daegu City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Ulsan City participated.Students who participated enjoyed the campus tour and festival in the campus and, further, they had a meaningful time while inquiring into major studies.By Park Sa-lomKMG Cub Reporteraeiou01@kmu.ac.kr

On April 5, the 17th Kyungju Cherry Marathon was held in front of Kyungju World Culture Expo. Sponsored by Kyungju city and the Sports Hochi, a Japanese newspaper, the marathon included full course, half course, 5 km and 10 km courses, and a walking course. 13,000 people participated, including 800 Japanese people. Ninety Keimyung people ― Lee Jin-woo, the president of KMU, members of main administration, professors' marathon club and Keimyung club ― participated in the marathon.
