On January 1, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology decided that 15 new pharmacy schools would be assigned additional entrance quotas from 5 to 10 for the upcoming 2012 spring enrollment season. On December 30, Daegu Technopark KMU Center, which has achieved excellent results in full-time job creation through a youth intern system, received a citation from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in the 2010 Government Supporting Job Creation awards ceremony. The KMU taekwondo team participated in the 2010 Polish Open International Taekwondo Championships as Korean representatives. All the members won prizes. The seven KMU representatives won four gold medals, one silver medal, and two bronze medals. About 400 athletes from Azerbaijan and many European countries participated. In addition, after the contest finished, Professor Lee Seon-jang taught taekwondo theory and practical skills at a seminar for members of the Polish national team and coaches and some other European countries’ taekwondo coaches.
