On December 30, Daegu Technopark KMU Center, which has achieved excellent results in full-time job creation through a youth intern system, received a citation from the Ministry of Employment and Labor in the 2010 Government Supporting Job Creation awards ceremony.

Daegu TP KMU Center has tried to provide many jobs for young people and to change temporary positions to permanent positions since 2009. Consequently, the Center found 534 young people employment in medium-sized enterprises in Daegu, and 85.9% of six-month interns have found permanent positions. 33% of students in the internship program changed from temporary positions to permanent positions during the internship program.

In addition, the Center has developed a youth employment internship Web site (http://intern.kmtp.net) that makes it easy for internship seekers to apply to companies. The Center has built a system which provides convenient employment services.

The Web site provides much information such as statistics about wages, types of occupation, educational level, working conditions, and reports that provide guidelines for getting a job. The Center provides many programs such as pre- and on-the-job training, counseling, and job creation information sessions to maximize job creation.
