Brief on KMU

KMU Spreading Taekwondo to Vietnam

On September 28, the Department of Taekwondo revealed that ten students will be dispatched to the taekwondo center located in the gym of the Public Security Bureau in Vietnam.

The Keimyung students will stay for 12 weeks from October in Vietnam and teach taekwondo and the Korean language to agents of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, students, and Hanoi citizens.

In February 2009, Keimyung University signed an M.O.U. with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in regard to cooperation for exchanging performers and athletic directors. Officers and taekwondo performers of the Ministry of Public Security have visited Keimyung University for training camps. In order to exchange cooperation, Keimyung University accepted the proposal to dispatch students. Vietnam wants to learn about the advanced theories and techniques of taekwondo through KMU.
