Keimyung University sent a delegation to the 18th Annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference in Switzerland from September 12 to September 17. About 3000 people concerned with university international exchanges attended the conference. The KMBS Broadcasting Festival will be screened on cable TV from September 27. Several programs produced by KMBS will be televised on SDTV, The Green Cable Television Station, and Qrix. On SDTV, KMBS programs are going to be televised every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 4AM, 10AM, and 2PM during the rest of this semester. The Myungyo Dormitory Open House Festival began on September 20 and lasted 3 days. The many events included a wheelchair race, a concert, a soccer game, and a fireworks display. Daegu Athletics Meeting 2006 will be held at the World-cup Stadium. By hosting the event Daegu intends to boost city image, a city of athletics and raise an people's interests on the athletics so that it could help to host 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu.
