The Keimyung University taekwondo team won the 44th national team competition which was held in Park Jeong-hui Gym in Gumi. The contest started on June 15 and continued for 6 days. They got 3 gold medals and one bronze medal in three male weight classes.Coach Jung Jae-jeong made a big contribution to the result of the Keimyung University team. Jung was a gold medalist at the Egypt World Taekwondo Championships in 1989 and became Keimyung University taekwondo team coach in 2009. The spring kendo championship for universities was held from May 9 to 11 at Chungbuk Boeun National Sport Center.On May 11, for the first time, Keimyung University kendo team won the championship.
