Australia Working Holiday and Scholarship Explanatory Meeting



There was an explanatory meeting on Australia Working Holidays and Australian government scholarships on May 15 in the multimedia room in New Bauer Hall. After a short greeting, Lee Hye-lynn, an education officer in the commerce mission gave a speech about Australia and studying in Australia, getting a visa and education in Australia. She went into details of yearly tuition, entrance time, document preparation and living expenses. After that, Park Eun-ji from the Education Department described Government of Australia scholarships. In particular, she described the types of scholarships, the method of application and the schedule within the scholarships. Lastly, Kwon Min-suk, a person who experienced a working holiday, gave a presentation about useful tips on working holiday, his impressions of his experience, and safety information.

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design
French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association.
