On December 10, ‘Warm Wintering’, a sharing love charity bazaar for foreign students, was held in the International Education Center lobby. The bazaar was held by the labor union of the personnel of Keimyung university.From December 13-15, about 1,000 goods, including winter coats and gloves, were collected from people and then went on sale to foreign students. Proceeds from the bazaar will be used for scholarships, while the rest of the goods will be offered to foreign students for free after the bazaar is over. As the economic slump is continuing, most of the metropolitan universities in Korea are determined to freeze their registration fee next year. Therefore, Keimyung University decided to freeze its registration fee on December 1, making it the first provincial university to do so. The 46th General Student Council (GSC) election and the 25th General Women's Council (GWC) elections were held on September 20. Yoon Seong-kyu (junior, Department of Food Science and Technology) and Kim Jun-han (sophomore, Department of Energy and Environmental Science) was elected as GSC president and GSC vice-president respectively, and Oh Hyeon-a (junior, Department of Environmental Conservation and Disaster Prevention) was elected as GWC president.
