October has been appointed “Visit Hengso Museum Month” to overcome the perception of museums as static and lacking in interest. As such, it will now open on Sundays and national holidays. An exhibition of paintings by Kwon Jeong-soon, better known as “Indang,” and a collection of cultural artifacts are being displayed, and guided tours of the exhibits are being provided. Son Geun-ho, the head of the Arts and Culture Research Center said, “We are holding these exhibitions for children visiting our museum. We will try to give them enjoyment and useful information at the same time during their field trip.”
