The Global Innovation Challenge workshop by KMU’s Industry Academic Cooperation Foundation was held at Myunggyo Dormitory on January 29. There were a total of 13 students picked for the Global Innovation Challenge with the students divided into six teams for the workshop. A skills program for professors was held at Hotel Inter-Burgo from February 2 to 3. The main topic of this program was how to make good teaching materials. The instructor was Choi Young-su from the Korea Presentation Center.The program focused on making materials with PowerPoint and editing video materials. The first day’s topic was PowerPoint. Keimyung University helped local people in the Philippines from January 21 for 10 days. The team from Keimyung University included a professor from Fashion Design, a volunteer from Caritas, and 4 students from Fashion Design. They headed to Negros Islandin the Philippines. The 2015 Academic Exchange Seminar was held on January 14 in Keimyung University Dongsan Library. The seminar has taken place annually since the conclusion of an academic exchange agreement between Dongsan Library and other university libraries in 2010.
