On July 24, representatives from Shinmyung High School and Ci Hu High School in China visited KMU. In Starcro Daegu Square, KBIDC (Korea Blockchain Internet Data Center) reached an agreement with KMU for the ‘Starcro’ Project, a national block-chain technology project. KBIDC is a crypto currency technology research and development company. KBIDC aims to develop block-chain technology and crypto currency to ultimately make Korea a suzerain state of crypto currency. The opening ceremony of the traveling exhibition ‘Packing Art of Joseon Dynasty’ was held on the first floor of the Hengso Museum on May 14th. The special exhibition, which runs from May 14th to July 14th, will display 43 items and 80 pieces related to Joseon’s royal packaging art, which is owned by the National Palace Museum of Korea. On May 9th, 2018, the 5th Asia-Pacific International Chopin Piano Competition was held at Keimyung University. It was offered as an opportunity for talented young pianists around the world.
