Lee Ho-young (junior, Dept. of Industrial Design) won a prize at the Red Dot Design Awards 2009 held in the Singapore. This award is widely recognized along with two other awards, IDEA of America and IF of Germany. Lee won the prize in the design concept field.Lee’s Road Printer is a kind of printing machine which prints out road markings or traffic lanes automatically by using the principle of computer printers. He got a high appraisal for using an environmentally-friendly design using solar power. The concept of his work came from seeing people printing lanes directly on the road in summer.

Starting from the end of August, Keimyung University Korea Taekwondo Center is to start taekwondo training for 50 trainees.
