On May 10, Keimyung Music Contest was held in Daemyung Campus. The contest was hosted by the Department of Music Production with the main participants of high school students. There was no limitation in music genre, for example, Rock, POP, R&B, CCM, but self-composed music was emphasized in getting additional marks. From April 1 to 13, the 46th "Jinhae Gunhang Festival," was held in Jinhae City, which is also famous for its cherry blossoms. On April 4, the 33rd "History Readings for College Students" seminar was held in Youngam Hall. This lecture was given by Professor Jung Chul-woong, a Chinese history scholar from Myongji University. His lecture concerned climate change throughout human history. He said the lecture's purpose was not to explain human history, but to consider natural history and draw an outline of climatic change.
