The Realbird team won the first prize in the UCC contest hosted by Nutrilite. The Most Impressive Memory This Year Joining the Flash Mob Club is one of my most memorable experiences in 2012. As usual, I was passive and quiet, but my friend convinced me to join the club. When I first met the club members, they seemed to get along really well. For this reason, it was quite hard for me to get close to them. On November 7, Yu Woo-ik, the Minister of Unification, gave a special lecture in the audio-visual room of Bauer Hall. The topic of his lecture was the Korean peninsula’s circumstances and unification policies. KMU held a festival in Vietnam to celebrate Hangul Proclamation Day and the 20th anniversary of Korea-Vietnam amity. Since 2010, KMU has introduced Hangul and Korean culture to Vietnam and held the festival to build amity between Korea and Vietnam. Participants had a great time experiencing Korean folk games such as Jaekichagi and Yoot-nori, putting on Hanbok, and eating Korean food. The things I want to do before 30 Fluency in foreign languages is what I really want to achieve to enrich my life. I think speaking a foreign language is a wonderful thing. Speaking at least five languages well, including my mother tongue, is my goal now. I have learned English for a long time and I can speak Japanese, Spanish and French a little. Learning these three languages is still at the beginning stage. However, I am just 22 now and have eight years until I’m 30. KMU received a presidential citation at the 13th Innovative Technology Competition for developing technology for small and medium companies’ development. Only KMU received the presidential award among the country’s 4-year universities. Also, KMU received 5% of research funding in 2012 to supplement research and to help businesses.Evaluation standards were goal achievement (40), technology (30), the possibilities of utilizing it in real industry (20), and how much a university tries to develop technology to help small and medium companies. How I Overcome Loneliness?I prefer spending most of my time alone to hanging out with friends. Sometimes, I feel lonely, though. Now, I will tell you some ways I overcome loneliness.
