Brief on KMU

Festivals Celebrating Hangul Proclamation Day

KMU held a festival in Vietnam to celebrate Hangul Proclamation Day and the 20th anniversary of Korea-Vietnam amity. Since 2010, KMU has introduced Hangul and Korean culture to Vietnam and held the festival to build amity between Korea and Vietnam.

Participants had a great time experiencing Korean folk games such as Jaekichagi and Yoot-nori, putting on Hanbok, and eating Korean food. Also, KMU awarded scholarships to three students who had great results in a Korean essay contest.

On October 9, 220 international students participated in a Korean quiz contest at Euiyang Hall. The contest consisted of a Korean OX quiz, making letters using the body, explaining words using body language, and Korean golden bell. There were various programs where international students could learn and understand Korean easily.
