From May 10 to 12, a festival called Bisa Daedong Festival was held at Keimyung University. The festival was held at the small field until 11 P.M. KMU students should have been satisfied with the festival since it is held for them and by them. From July 6 to 9, KMU students in the Glocal Trade Expert Incubating Program (GTEP) participated in the Shanghai International Sports Equipment Expo and the Beijing K-Style Fair 2016. Students prepared for these for a month, analyzing products and strategizing for marketing. They also gave a lot of help to several local companies like working as interns at the companies. On August 17, an exhibition by graduating KMU landscape architecture students was held in Dongsan Hall’s 3rd gallery on the Daemyung Campus.Fourteen impressive works about the DMZ and reunification were exhibited. On July 27, Keimyung University and Daegu Culture Foundation concluded an agreement at KMU Main Administration Building. This agreement was for fostering cultural and artistic projects. From July 3 to 16, Keimyung University, Keimyung College University, and Dongsan Medical Center did volunteer work in the Philippines. The volunteer work was conducted by students, professors, and medical support people. They remodeled and repaired an elementary school, constructed classrooms, and leveled the playground in Valencia, the Philippines. Dongsan Medical Center built temporary wards and gave medical care to locals. The Dongsan group provided medical check-ups and medicines. KMU Archery Team shows its power as ‘top of the university archery team’.The team got six gold medals such as three silver medals and three bronze medals in the 19th Korean University Archery Championship.He got medals for solo, team, mixed team, 70m and 90m. He set a new record in 70m field.
