    On January 22nd, Dong-A University's LINC+ held a mutual business agreement ceremony and performance exchange meeting with Keimyung University's LINC+ business group. LINC+ is abbreviation of Leaders in Industry University Cooperation. The event aimed to promote the cooperation in three ways.   • Social Innovation Support Center

    On Nov. 29th, KMU established the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province Social Innovation Support Center. This center aims to develop a role for universities to better contribute to the community.   • InProfSS: International Professors and Students Semester 

    This year marks the 120th anniversary of our university. One of the ways to celebrate it was making an International Professor and Students Semester called ‘InProfSS’ and leading KMU’s internationalization. The foundation of Keimyung University was established by a few foreigners on an American Presbyterian mission. Now, Keimyung University has 144 foreign professors, 11 percent of its 1,294 professors.   • A Valuable Donation from KMU Students

    A team consisting of Major in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, called the Guardian Team, won the best prize at the recent Daegu International Future Auto Expo 2019 Car Startup Camp which was held October 17th to 20th. The Guardian Team showed off a user-installed automatic sprinkler system in a car and received excellent reviews from the judges. They got one million won for prize money and surprisingly, they donated all to the school on October 29th.   • 2019 Public Diplomacy Symposium

    Keimyung University and Daegu City held the "2019 Public Diplomacy Symposium in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do " under the sponsorship of the KF. Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride.
